ACC Twenty20 Cup

The ACC Twenty20 Cup is the Asian championship of Twenty20 cricket tournament for national teams from Asia. It is organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The first edition was held in 2007 October – November in Kuwait. The second edition is to be held November 22-30, 2009 at United Arab Emirates.

A brief report of ACC Twenty20 Cup 2007
The first edition of the ACC Twenty20 Cup was held at Kuwait. The tournament started on October 27, 2007. The final was on November 2, 2007 and it was a tie. Twenty-four matches were played in the seven day tournament. Ten teams participated in the tournament. The teams are Nepal, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Afghanistan, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

The teams divided into two groups. The groups are:
Group A: Nepal, Malaysia, Qatar, Afghanistan, Oman
Group B: United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia
