ICC World Twenty20 2010 will be held in West Indies on April 30 – May 16, 2010. This tournament will be taking place ten months after the last series because 2011 World Cup. Ten Test-playing nations and two qualifiers will participate in the tournament. Matches will be played at four grounds – Barbados, St Lucia, Guyana and St Kitts. The tournament will be organised in parallel with the Women’s Tournament.The groups were announced on July 5, 2009 for ICC World Twnety20 2010. The groups are:
Group A: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia
Group B: Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Zimbabwe
Group C: India, South Africa, the winner of 2010 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament will be held at United Arab Emirates
Group D: West Indies, England, the runner up of 2010 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament will be held at United Arab Emirates
The ICC World Twenty20 2010 Qualifier will be held in United Arab Emirates on February 2010. Eight teams will play in the ICC World Twenty20 2010 Qualifier. The teams are Afghanistan, Canada, Ireland, Kenya, Netherlands, Scotland, United Arab Emirates and United States of America.
