Karnataka Premier League

Karnataka Premier League (KPL) is a twenty20 cricket league established by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). The first edition of the KPL will start on September 9, 2009. The league is a domestic cricket competition modeled Indian Premier League (IPL). The Manthri Group is the sponsor of the KPL Twenty20 tournament. The real estate company bagged the rights for INR 11.11 crore payable over five years. The tournament will be held from September 9 to 23.
