Cape Cobras

Cape Cobras is a cricket team in South Africa domestic cricket. It is a joint team of Western Province and Boland. The name of the team was Western Province Boland since 2004-05 season. In 2006 changed the name as Nashua Cape Cobras. Their home grounds are Newlands, Cape Town and Boland Bank Park, Paarl. The team is known to have produced many national cricketers like Graeme Smith Herschelle Gibbs and Jean Paul Duminy. Graeme Smith is the captain of the team.

The team plays in the Super Sport Series, MTN Domestic Championship and Standard Bank Twenty20. They are the champions of Standard Bank Twenty20 2009 edition and they qualify for the Champions League Twenty20 2009.
